In 5 years of navigation, I’ve understood one thing: every trip at sea tells a unique story.
When I created Ab’s Boats Plaisance in 2020, I primarily thought about offering classic sea tours to tourists and locals in the Basque Country. But very quickly, the Évidence II became much more than just a rental boat: it transformed into a true floating stage for extraordinary and inspiring projects.
Beyond family outings, bachelorette parties (EVJF), and romantic sunsets, I’ve had the privilege of welcoming web personalities, prestigious corporate teams, audiovisual professionals, and committed non-profits on board. Each of these experiences has enriched my profession and reminded me why I love sailing so much: to create unique and memorable moments, whatever they may be.
Let me tell you about some of these extraordinary adventures that have marked the last 5 years on the Atlantic Ocean.
🎬 When Content Creators Choose the Basque Coast
Influencers on board the Évidence II In recent years, I’ve had the honor of hosting several renowned content creators and influencers, some with millions of followers. Contrary to what one might imagine, they weren't there to film content. They were simply looking for a moment of total disconnection, far from cameras and screens.
Why did they choose Évidence II? Because the sea offers what few places can guarantee today: a real break, a bubble of tranquility where no one recognizes you, where you can just be yourself. These outings taught me that even the most followed personalities need simple, authentic moments without a performance to give—just enjoying the sea breeze, the scenery, a towed buoy with friends, or a sunset without having to film it.
Discretion Above All Welcoming public figures in "rest mode" means, above all, respecting their need for privacy. My role becomes that of an invisible safeguard: ensuring their safety and comfort while being as discreet as possible. No unauthorized photos, no social media tags. Just a normal day. This respect for privacy is why these personalities feel confident and can truly unplug.
What I Learned from These Encounters These experiences showed me the "behind the scenes." Behind the millions of subscribers are people who enjoy the same things as everyone else: laughing on a tube, marveling at dolphins, or savoring a quiet moment in a Spanish cove. The sea is a great equalizer: no matter who you are on land, facing the ocean, we are all the same. And that is exactly what they come looking for.
🤝 Team Building at Sea – Business Done Differently
The Executives of Musée Grévin: When Art Meets the Ocean Among the memorable professional experiences, I had the pleasure of welcoming the management team of the famous Musée Grévin for a team building at sea. Imagine: Parisian professionals used to meeting rooms and art exhibitions, suddenly immersed in the world of the Atlantic Ocean and Basque culture.
Why Companies Choose the Sea to Unite Their Teams:
Total Disconnection: No Wi-Fi, no notifications. At sea, you are forced to be present. Masks fall, hierarchies soften, and true personalities emerge.
Neutral Territory: The ocean belongs to no one. On a boat, everyone is equal before the elements.
Bonding Activities: Whether it's the towed buoy (where laughter erupts regardless of job title), dolphin watching, or sharing a meal in a Spanish cove, every moment builds a bond.
The "Shared Adventure" Effect: Living a maritime experience together creates authentic anecdotes that will fuel office conversations for months.
For businesses, I adapt my service with precise scheduling, professional safety briefings, confidentiality, and catering options that go beyond a simple picnic.
📹 Logistical Support for Sporting and Media Events

TV7 and Ocean Rescue Biarritz 2025: Behind the Scenes In 2025, I had the honor of participating in the media coverage of Ocean Rescue Biarritz, a major event highlighting sea rescue. My mission? To serve as a stable platform for the TV7 teams and their drone operators.
This type of service is entirely different. It’s no longer about pleasing passengers, but about becoming a technical tool for a professional audiovisual project.
The Challenges: Perfect positioning without hindering competitors, managing stability for drone shots, and constant radio coordination.
The Pride of Contributing: Participating in the media coverage of sea rescue is a civic engagement for me. Supporting the SNSM (French National Sea Rescue Society) and their extraordinary work is a true source of pride.
💙 Solidarity Commitment – Making the Sea Accessible to All
The "Vivre et Devenir" Association: Exceptional Moments Some outings have touched me more than others, such as the one organized with the Vivre et Devenir association, which supports people with motor disabilities. I am deeply convinced that the sea has no barriers.
Necessary Adaptations:
Boarding: The most delicate moment. At Port Adhoc in Anglet, we work with the association’s team to secure the boarding process with patience and vigilance.
On-board Setup: The Quicksilver 755 Activ offers several comfortable areas, ensuring every resident finds their ideal spot safely.
Adapted Navigation: Smooth trajectories and protected areas. The goal is the fresh air and the landscape, not high speeds.
Seeing the immense, radiant smiles of residents who are usually confined to their wheelchairs as they discover the freedom of the ocean was moving. One of them told me: "I never thought I’d be able to experience this one day. Thank you for giving us the sea." Those words stay with you forever.
🌟 Other Unique Projects from the Last 5 Years
Ash Scattering at Sea: A delicate and moving service. It requires absolute discretion and respect to accompany families in this final tribute.
Marriage Proposals: Organizing a proposal requires clockwork precision (sunset timing, chilled champagne) and knowing how to disappear at the right moment. I’ve seen "Yes!" shouted in front of the Deux Jumeaux in Hendaye and the Villa Belza.
Fashion and Artistic Photoshoots: The boat becomes a mobile studio, moving according to creative needs between the cliffs of Bidart and the Bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
Basque Cultural Celebrations: Traditional songs facing the ocean and local tastings, reminding us how much the Basque people have always been linked to the sea.
